Hospitality club

There will be a hosp catch up club tommorrow, March 30th, 3-4.30pm for learners who are still outstanding assignments from units 2,6 and 13.

I have applied for Extra Mile Awards for all hosp learners who were involved with the Eisteddfod Function for the local community and governors, they were a credit to the school and provided customer service excellence.

Academic Review day on Thursday. Students to attend with their parents or on their own to set targets for the next couple of important months.

You will only be seen during lesson time if it is an emergency otherwise you should go there during your break time.

Academic Review Day

Thursday 31st March is Academic Review Day. This is your opportunity to meet with your tutors to discuss your progress so far and targets for the rest of the year. I hope to see you all there on the day. If you didn't return your appointment slip and your appointment times are not suitable please let me or your tutor know so that we can sort something out.. 

Fancy playing cricket?

For any budding cricket stars after school cricket club will take place on Wednesdays 3pm to 4pm in the hall with Mr Waring, Mr Sadler and Mr Devney.

Friday 25th March - Get on your bike

This Friday is cycle to school day!!
Take the opportunity for some exercise and cylcle to school and use the new bike shelter to store you bike in.

Coursework Clinic for all pupils sitting an exam this year B1:08 Tuesday 3:15 - 4:15.

Comic Relief

This Friday is comic relief day. For a generous donation of 50p you may wear something read to school along with your school uniform.

Year 11 pathways evening

The year 11 pathways evening will take place on Wednesday 16th March at the Christchurch Centre. You will be able to find out more information about the courses you wish to take next year in sixth form by attending this evening and speaking to members of staff.

Revision Conference

Tuesday March 15th sees year 10 and the year 11 target group attending a revision conferecnce in school aimed at improving revision techniques and strategies. Further details will follow or visit

Fancy cycling to school?

The school cycle shelter is open for students to use to store their bikes in the morning and collect at the end of the day. The shelter is locked all day.


The shelter is open in the morning before school and then locked for the day. At 3:00 the shelter is open again for students to collect their bikes. There are no locks available and therefore students will need to use their own.

School leavers jab

The final opportunity for Year 10 to have their school leaver jab is on 25^th March.  Those who have returned their form will be called for on the day.  If you haven’t had the jab as yet you need to return your form to your Head of House as soon as possible.
