House Council meeting

Welcome back. Hope you all had a good break.

This half terms house council meeting will take place lesson 1 on Thursday C0:25. Please discuss with your form any issues they would like brought up and ensure you are punctual on Thursday.

School council  reps will meet next Tuesday, 8th March. Venue to be confirmed.

Science wing

The Science corridor is not to be used as an informal drop in center during Lunchtime and Break.  Unless you are working in a classroom, with a teacher, this area is not an extension of the canteen / alfresco area.

Maths Revision

All year 10 students in 10X1, Y1, Y2, Y3 will be very welcome in Maths revision tonight.


Higher tier with Mr Jones and Foundation with Mr Evans

Revision will also take place on Thursday.

Higher tier with Mrs Reese and Foundation with Miss Cox.

Chess players

Anyone who plays, or is interested in playing, chess and would like to join a school chess league during lunchtimes please email Mr Evans to let him know as he is keen to expand the Taliesin chess competition to the rest of the school. 

Hospitality club

There is catch up club Tuesday and Friday for all learners who havent submitted unit 2 and 13, or need help with completing pass and merit tasks.

Year 10 Maths and English

If your parents have received a letter inviting them to speak to your Maths and English teachers on Thursday please return the slip indicating whether or not they will be attending. These meetings are intended to be an opportunity to discuss the support that can be given to help you achieve that grade C.
