There will be a meeting of the Pryderi House Council during lesson 4 on Thursday 6th January in Co.25.
Please be punctual and come with any concerns your form may have.

Year 11 science booster

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday a science booster session takes place for year 11. If you have received a letter it is essential you attend. It's your chance to improve the results you got in science last year.

Non Uniform

Wednesday 15th December. £1 donation to the Mayors charity Tenovus. Have your money ready on the way into school.

Wednesday is also Christmas Dinner in the canteen and the Christmas Fayre at 3.15.

Exam expectations

All students sitting exams are expected to follow the same basic rules:
1. Arrive on time
2. be fully equipped
3. Remain silent and face the front from the moment you enter the room until you leave.

Failure to comply could result in all your exam papers being cancelled.

Year 10

Just a reminder that I need the Year 10 completed work experience forms by the end of next week.

Please can you complete all necessary parts of the form and to sign the forms before handing them in.

If you have lost your form you need to see Mr Hoskins. Time is running out to get this done.

Hospitality and catering

Year 10 learners who study hospitality and catering will complete their maths mock this Thursday 9th December 2010 (not Friday as planned) due to the hospitality event this Friday 10th.

Failure to complete their mock with year 11 learners on Thursday (SEE EXAM NOTICE BOARD) will mean you have to miss the event Friday and complete it then.

Road Safety

There have been a number of reports of students running in front of vehicles and endangering themselves and others. Please take more care and think before putting yourselves in danger around vehicles.

Got Mocks next week?

All the information you need for your mocks next week will be placed on the walls between the red and green untis on the ground floor. Please make sure you check there on Friday so that you know where you should be on Monday.
Remember that bags and coats should be put in lockers before going to exams as they are not allowed in examination rooms.

Arriving late?

Are you among the growing number who think school starts after 8.45?


From now on your lates will be monitored and anyone who arrives late on 3 occasions during a week will be given a C4 detention. Persistent lateness will result in the EWO contacting your parents.
