Uniform

The new uniform was decided with the idea being it looks very smart. Shirts need to be tucked in at ALL times and C events will be issued if you refuse to follow the school uniform policy.

Children in Need

There will be a non uniform day on Friday in aid of Children in Need.

If you come in non uniform you are asked to dontae £1 to this very worthwhile cause.

KS4 Maths Clinic

 

If you are a KS4 learner and are experiencing difficulties in a particular Maths topic, please attend the Maths Clinic. The clinics will take place on Tuesdays in C0:24 between 3.15pm and 4.15pm until Christmas.

Operation Christmas Child

Hi all

Last Year as a school we sent 64 Shoe Boxes to children around the World that may not otherwise have received a Christmas Gift.

Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated by those that receive these shoeboxes.

We will be holding another Interhouse competition to see who can produce the most shoeboxes. Pryderi won last year but only Talesin were a very close second.

All shoeboxes must be with Miss Squires by Monday the 26th November. You must submit them via your TFL and Head of House in order to have them accredited to your house.

Your TFL's have guidance leaflets on what to include or not include. Each box also needs £2-50 so any monetary donations are welcome too. In the past houses have all collected any loose change and combined it to make a donation.

Please remember your efforts here could be the difference to someone waking up on Christmas morning to a gift or not.

Welcome back

Hope everybody had a restful half term and have returned to school ready to work hard until Christmas.

From this week our assembly will be on a Thursday and the whole school House assemblies on a Monday every 4 weeks.

This Wednesday sees the first inter house competition of the year, a KS4 Netball competition. This will take place after school between 3 and 4. We are looking for 7 girls to take part. remember weve got to be in it to win it.
